"Medicine Road" is a Native American Church (NAC) influenced design. Within the circle of the main design is a crescent moon alter which is used in the Native American Church. The white line breaking up the red and orange sections of the alter is representative of "The Road of Life". At the center of the alter sits a Chief Peyote and is the medicine that helps to guide participating members of NAC ceremonies. Typically held within a tipi, these ceremonies take place during all seasons and elements throughout the year.
