MMIW stands for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women - a human rights crisis affecting Indigenous communities across North America. Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people face disproportionately high rates of violence, disappearance, and lack of justice. This movement raises awareness, honors those impacted, and calls for systemic change, accountability, and protection for Indigenous lives and communities.
